Cave Point is a photographers paradise so it has been photographed thousands of times. On my latest trip to the park I decided to turn away from the water and look for photos elsewhere. I liked the contrast of the new seed pods against the deep blue sky and taught that was a definite sign of Spring. I used a polarizing filter to darken the sky ( Ansel Adams and most black and white photographs would used a red filter to get a similar effect ) and cut down on reflections so the seed pods stand out.
